Pattern of Test Papers

The JAM 2027 Examination will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT). Each test paper will consist of three sections namely Section A, Section B and Section C.

Section A

Contains Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Negative marking is applicable for incorrect answers.

Section B

Contains Multiple Select Questions (MSQs). There is NO negative marking in this section.

Section C

Contains Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. Answers should be entered using the virtual keyboard.

Instructions

  • There is provision for using an online virtual calculator.
  • Mobile phones and electronic devices are not permitted.
  • Carry a valid Admit Card and Photo ID.
  • Reach the examination centre before reporting time.
  • Candidates must follow all instructions given by the invigilator.
  • Violation of examination rules may lead to cancellation.
